Obituary
Albert B. Barnett Jr. 87, of Junction City, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born on August 29, 1922, in Warren, Arkansas to Albert B. Barnett Sr and Lottie Mae Dawkins Phillips. He was a member of Three Creeks Baptist Church.
He preceded in death by his parents.
Albert is survived by his wife Obie Lou Owens Barnett of Junction City, Arkansas, a son; Albert B. (Bert) Barnett of Oriental, North Carolina; two daughters Bonnie Jean Howarth (Jack) of Roselyn, Pennsylvania and Bonnie Maerine Young (Carl) of Batesville, Arkansas; a brother Alfred Barnett (Betty) of Warren, Arkansas, a sister Maerine Tolbert ( George), of El Dorado, and eight grand children and several great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday July 10, 2010, at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado with Dr. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado.
Memorials may be made to the Hopewell Cemetery c/o Larry Taylor 3634 Haynesville Hwy. Junction City, Arkansas, 71749.
