Albert Wayne Cooney of Clinton, Arkansas was born June 30, 1952 in Forrest City, Arkansas, and passed from this life August 5, 2022 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 70.

Albert was preceded in death by parents Albert and Marie Cooney, one sister Evelyn Howard, brother-in-law Buddy Hill, and nephew Aubrey Hill Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years Michelle Shelton Cooney; five daughters Lisa Turner, Liz Bilak, Linsi Manuel and her husband Michael, Denise Grice and husband Corey, Jessica Harper and husband Cody, son Grant Shelton and wife Bree; one sister Sue Hill; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas. Undertaking provided by Perry's Funeral Chapel of El Dorado, Arkansas.
