Amber Wright Nicklaus, age 60, passed away peacefully in the arms of her best friend Renae McKnight Brown on Thursday, August 15, 2024.  Amber was the only daughter born to Bruce and Patricia Wright on November 1, 1963 in El Dorado, AR.

Amber was a graduate of both El Dorado High and Southern Arkansas University where she received a bachelor's in Education. She loved her classroom and all the children that entered. She often paid for expenses out of her own pocket for drapes and the needs of children. This is her legacy.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her aunt Joan Wright Powell, numerous cousins and spouses; Amber's special friend Briley Pitard whom Amber loved as her own. Renae McKnight Brown (Rondy) who was a friend and a sister that made sure Amber knew she was loved.

A memorial graveside in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2024, at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado, AR.
