Obituary

Angela Darlene (Cheatham) Epperley of El Dorado, Arkansas, went to be the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2016 after suffering injuries from an accidental fall at her home. "Angie" as many fondly knew her, was born on January 27th, 1962 in Smackover, Arkansas, to the late Charles D. "Chuck" Cheatham and Mary Frances "Jitter" (Burson) Cheatham. She served her community in her young adult life as a nurse, greatly impacting the lives of those entrusted to her care, especially the elderly. It was very important to Angie to care for her patients in their golden years in a way which ensured dignity and self-respect. In this capacity, Angie also compassionately served her own family with assisting in the personal care of both parents during their respective final struggles with cancer. Her beauty as a person radiated beyond the physical, and touched the lives of many family and friends close to her, and also with those in need within several of the community based outreach and service programs she served over the years. After leaving the medical community, she went on to become a Journeyman in the electrical field and could keep up with any man beside her. Angie's strength was more than simply physical, however, as her frame of mind was often defined by her own very strong will and perseverance. Her motto was "Attitude is Everything!" which has continued to ring in peoples' ears through the years, and even still to this day. Her warm smile was contagious, and could light up a room. Angie's mere presence gave a sense of ease, being a completely congenial soul, she hardly ever met a stranger. Her path in Life was often difficult, but without question; Angie did it her way. In her most recent years, Angie's greatest joy was experienced with each precious moment spent with each of her four grandchildren.
Angela was preceded in death by both her mother and father, but her legacy continues with those she leaves this life to including her children; daughter Cassidy Williams of Hot Springs; her son, Larry Dennis Epperley, Jr., and daughter-in-law Becky Epperley of El Dorado, her four precious grandchildren; Jestin and Raven Williams and Isabella and Ryker Epperley; along with three brothers (and their wives); Steven M. Cheatham (Charla) of El Dorado, Charles A "Ghost" Cheatham (Brittany) of Little Rock, and Russell E. "Eric" Cheatham (Cathey) of North Little Rock, along with many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members, and countless friends.
