On June 14, 2022 Ann Springfield received her wings and went to walk with the Angels.  She was 85 years old.  Ann was born in El Dorado, AR on June 5 ^th , 1937.  She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening and crafting—but most of all she loved being with family and her 2 favorite companions Casper and Stormy.  She is preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Elsie Lee, 2 sons; Danny Major, Ronnie Springfield, 3 brothers; Aubrey, Jerry and Malvin Lee and 1 sister; Betty Carrington.  She is survived by 4 children; Faye Morris of VA, Gary Major (Kim); Gene Springfield (Renee) and Kim Nichols (Karl), all of El Dorado, 1 brother Ricky Lee of El Dorado and 1 sister Kathy Morris (Koonce) of Lake Charles, La.  She had 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Arrangements are being handled by Perry's Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be Saturday June 18 ^th , 2022 from 11:00 – 1:00pm followed by a graveside service at Smyrna Cemetery at 2:00pm.  The family will be receiving visitors at 234 Mt. Union Rd in El Dorado.
