Obituary
Augusta Stanford Hines, 74, of Strong, AR passed away Friday June 3, 2016 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Augusta was born, July 4, 1941 to the late Clarence Stanford and Nellie Evans Stanford of Marion, LA. She was a longtime member of the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Strong, a loving, caring mother and devoted wife. Enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Harold O'Neil Hines; two sisters; Maxine Holley and Stella Stanson; one son-in-law, Randy Cline; one grandchild, Wayne Cline.
Those left to cherish in her memory are her four children, Becky Gathright, Jimmy Hines (Robin), Ron Hines (Jo) and Sheila Hines. Grandchildren, Amanda Cline, Breanna Gathright, Cassie Hines, Caitlin Hines, Caleb Cain, Daniel Hines. One great-grandchild Aurora Cline, one sister Maggie Stanford and her beloved cat Abby.
Visitation will be held from 5 -7 Sunday June 5, 2016 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Pigeon Hill Rd in Strong.
Services will be at 10:30 Monday, June 6, 2016 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Pigeon Hill Rd in Strong with Bro. Danny Malone officiating.
Interment will be held at Green Grove Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
