Barbara Nell Bishop, 85, of El Dorado, AR went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Barbara was born July 7, 1937 in Lapile, AR to the late Ray and Nettilene Taunton.

To many, Barbara was the friendly expert who knew everything about Estee Lauder and Clinique. She worked over five decades in cosmetics and retail. Barbara was legendary for her determined personality, brutal honesty, and strength. She loved working in her yard, cooking, and spending time with all her "Peter-Rabbits," her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her faith in Christ served as her backbone and was a constant support even during the hardest of trials.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Billy E Bishop; one brother Louis Ray Taunton; one daughter Charlotte Fielder; and son in law Charles Kenneth McWilliams.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one daughter Annette McWilliams; three grandchildren  Stephanie Francis and her husband Brian, Philadelphia Fielder-Bland and her husband Jacob, Michalie Fielder; four great-grandchildren Kara, Blaine, Kason, and Atley; son in law Mike Fielder; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Strong Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Lifetouch Hospice House in El Dorado.
