Barbara Kay McGarity, 70, of El Dorado passed away Monday, January 28, 2020 at Baptist Health-Little Rock. She was born March 4, 1949 to the late Ela "Cop" Mason and Eliza Bell Mason Primm.

Barbara retired from the Medical Center of South Arkansas as a Medical Record Coder. She was a member of the Master Gardner Group and The Quilt Gill.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sara Jane Hopkins.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Myers; son, Eddie Gandy; daughter, Kattie Cates; grandchildren, Brenda Blackman (Mason), Mason Gandy, Gordon Cates and Natalee Jerry (Bailey); great-grandchildren, Rhett Blackman, Emma Gandy, Lola Cates, Bentley Jerry, and one on the way with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.  Funeral Services for Barbara will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 officiated by Bro. Billy Smith at Perry's Funeral Chapels followed by Interment at Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
