Barbara Jean Neely, 80, of El Dorado, passed away on December 24, 2018 at Oak Ridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Camden, AR on July 5, 1938 to Aubrey Eugene and Helen Alexander Ables. Barbara worked as a Nurse at various medical facilities in the El Dorado area throughout her career and continued to care for everyone after her retirement. She was a member of Lawson Baptist Church and former member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Jessie Earl Neely; brother, Gary Ables; and sister, Carolyn Sue Bone.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Wade Neely and wife Susan; daughter, Rhonda Hunt; grandson, Tyler Hunt; sister, Mary Ann Blann and husband Oren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels followed by interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Camden, AR.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202 or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 7 ^th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
