Bertha M. Lee, 84, of Parkers Chapel, died Thursday, December 1, 2011. She was born November 12, 1927 in Parkers Chapel and is the daughter of the late Jesse Franklin McKinnon and Mary Esther Emerson McKinnon. She was a sales clerk for B.W. Reeves clothing store for many years. Prior to that she shared the duties of church treasury with her husband the late Robert C. Lee at Parkers Chapel United Methodist Church for 60 years. She chartered the Children's choir program at the church. She was also the current bookkeeper of the Parkers Chapel Water Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Robert C. Lee, a son; Roger Martin Lee, brother; Joe S. McKinnon, a sister-in-law Martha Jane Bunn McKinnon, and a niece Mary Jane McKinnon.

Survivors include her daughter; Debbie Lee Helms (Thomas), son Robbie Lee (Cathy), daughter-n-law; Sevim Lee, brother; Robert McKinnon (Carol), grandchildren; Scotty Givens (Rhonda), Leann Poss (Joseph), Danny Givens, Breanna Lee, Cristen Colclasure (Blake), Rebekah Lee, Marty Lee (Eva ), and Stacy Lee. Great grandchildren; Madelyn Poss, Gentry Poss, Katie Lee, Heather Lee, Megan Parker, step-grandchildren; Stephanie Tchimou, and Stephan Nolan, step-great great grandchild; Martial Tchimou Jr., nephews Frank McKinnon, Gene McKinnon, and Jesse McKinnon, a niece Sherrell Ann McKinnon.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on December 5, 2011 at Parkers Chapel United Methodist Church with Revs. Robbie Lee and Phil Worley officiating. Visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday December 4, 2011 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Burial will be in Fredonia Cemetery Serving as pallbearers will be Marty Lee, Scotty Givens, Danny Givens, Joseph Poss, Breanna Lee, and Blake Colclasure. Honorary pallbearers; Rebekah Lee, Cristen Colclasure, Leann Poss, Stacy Lee, Gene McKinnon, and Jesse McKinnon
