Betty Louise Mason 83 of El Dorado passed on Sunday March 23 to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born May 14, 1930 to John Thomas and Susie B Orren. RIP our sweet mother. One life can touch so many. She had a sweet spirit, innocence and playfulness that was endearing to everyone who knew her and loved her. Her family of many were blessed to feel her unconditional love. She will be loved and missed for ever and ever! Betty had such a gentle soul, she enjoyed ceramics, crocheted blankets and was an avid reader.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alfred Mason, brothers; James Orren, Lonnie Orren and sister Geraldine Ashworth.

Betty is survived by her son Tom Johnson (Laura) of El Dorado, two daughters; Frances Borden (William) of El Dorado and Nelda Tyler (Loyd) of Norphlet, two step sons; Dennis Mason (Cindy) of Magnolia and Jimmy Mason (Diana) of El Dorado,  sisters; Linda Orren Taweel (F.H.) of Smackover, Carolyn Woodruff (John) of Junction City and sister n law Helen Orren of Smackover, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 9 Great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Funeral Service will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the chapel with Bro. Kurt Birkeland officiating with burial to follow at Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Pallbearers will be Chris Kirby, Wayne Wells, Chad Blocker, Ryan Johnson, Michael Thurlkill, Shawn Johnson.
