Betty Sue Mendenhall Zeek, age 71, Passed away on June 3, 2025. Betty was born in Camden
Arkansas on May 23, 1954 to the late Marshall Mendenhall and Mabel Perry Mendenhall.
Betty loved being in nature, she got joy from taking care of her plants and going fishing. Above
all she loved being a Mom, a Grandmother and an Aunt. She loved making people feel valued
and because of this she was appreciated. She understood the importance of investing time in
people, time is an investment you can never get back and it is an investment treasured by those
who love her. Betty humbled herself by relaying to people what was on her heart about them
instead of assuming that they knew it. She made sure to intentionally spend time reading her
bible every evening. Those who had the pleasure of living life along side her are surely blessed
beyond measure.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Larry Mendenhall, her brother Marlon
Mendenhall and his wife Virginia Mendenhall, and her Sister in Law Sherry Mendenhall.
She is survived by her Husband Michael Zeek of Smackover AR, her son Brandon Zeek of El
Dorado AR, Daughter Amber Fay (Joel) of Harrison AR, Daughter Amy Zeek (Jae) of Maumelle
AR, Crystal Zeek of Smackover AR, her sister Patricia Remedies (Herman) of Mansfield LA,
brother Glenn Mendenhall of El Dorado AR, brother Ricky Mendenhall of El Dorado AR, brother
Chris Mendenhall (Lisa) of Norphlet AR. Her Grandchildren are Sydney, John Paul, and Gunner
Zeek, Jesse, Jackson, Jase, Ava and Jordan Fay.
