Billy Dean Echols passed from this life Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Oak Ridge Heath and Rehab. Billy was born August 7, 1962 in El Dorado, AR to the late Jimmie D. and Mae Nell Echols.

He worked for Mid-State Pipe loading trucks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at the camp before his accident.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Paula Simpson; two brothers Jimbo Echols and Tony Echols; and one nephew David Simpson.

Those left to cherish his memory include: three sisters Mary Elaine Nipper and her husband Johnny, Gladys Grimh and her husband Scott, Cindy Lee Thompson and her husband Jeremy; one brother Ray Echols; one uncle Paul Coke; as well a host of nieces and nephews that he considered his own.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR 71730.
