Bob W. Frisby 77 of Jonesboro, AR and formerly of Strong died Friday March 14, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. He was born in Strong on October 10, 1936 and was the son of Bobby Frisby and Lena Effie Binford Frisby. He was a construction worker by trade before retiring.

Bob loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he possibly could,.especially his grandchildren who grew up around him. He read the paper every morning and enjoyed good conversation with his brother Charles who he shared an apartment with. He enjoyed deer hunting but most of all he loved the quality time spent on family vacations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Bill Frisby and a sister; Hazel Risher.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law; Mike and Lauren Frisby of Bay, AR, two sisters; Lillie Read of Monroe, Louisiana and Betty Krouse and husband Dale of Minden, Louisiana, two brothers; Curley Frisby of Hot Springs and Charles Frisby of Bay, Arkansas, grandchildren; Lena Frisby, Staci Frisby, Abby Frisby, and Emma Claire, and a great grand daughter; Adalynn Frisby, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday March 17, 2014 at Green Grove Chapel with Rev Rex Williams officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Teague, Mark Risher, Randy Risher, Jay Wilson, Andy Allison, and Bo Hickey. Burial will follow in Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
