Brady Ellis Greenlee, 89, of El Dorado passed away on November 21, 2018. He was born on February 25, 1929 in Strong, AR to H.T. and Janie Walton Greenlee. Brady served two tours with the Marine Corps and was an El Dorado Police Officer for 20 years, achieving the rank of Captain. He also was a contract worker for Sears for many years repairing lawn mowers and garden equipment, delivering equipment and installing appliances. During the past few years Brady enjoyed going to Minute Man for a Big M on Friday evening before going to the American Legion to visit all of his friends there. He was a member of New London Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Alice Phelps Greenlee; daughter, Linda Anderson; son, Robert Greenlee; and brothers, Laronn Greenlee and Hubert Greenlee.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Patti Hubertus (Steven) of Strong, AR; grandchildren, Lance Lester (Kim) of Conway, AR, Alice Daw (Norma) of Pollock, LA, Eva Pearl (David) of Allen, TX, Rachel Jerry (Jeremy) of El Dorado, Kim Hubertus of Colfax, LA; great grandchildren, Will, Brandon and Emily Pearl, Bryce, Abby, Sophie and Lilly Jerry; brother, Ewel Greenlee; and sister-n-law, Becky Phelps.
Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2018 at New London Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
Serving as Pallbearers are Lloyd Phelps, Larry Phelps, Johnny Phelps, Lance Lester, Jeremy Jerry, and David Pearl.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Harper and his staff for always being there as well as Lifetouch Hospice for their care and compassion.
