IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda
Leopard
September 24, 1946 – September 12, 2025
Brenda Kay Leopard, age 78, of El Dorado, AR passed from this life Friday, September 12, 2025. Brenda was born September 24, 1946 in Star City, AR.
Brenda Leopard left behind a legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to her family. She was a good mom, a proud and loving granny, and a woman whose kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Brenda worked hard throughout her life, especially as a single mother raising her children. Her strength and determination provided a foundation of love and care that her family will forever cherish. She poured her heart into her grandchildren, keeping them often and investing her time, energy, and love into their lives.
A woman of simple joys, Brenda loved word search puzzles and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. The color blue was her favorite, and it was reflected everywhere—from her home décor to the clothes she wore. It was just one of the ways she expressed her personality and the things she loved.
Brenda was known for her kind heart and her generous spirit. She would give you anything she had if it meant helping someone in need. Her thoughtfulness and willingness to give without expecting anything in return made her a blessing to her family and friends alike.
She will be remembered for her laughter, her love, and her unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the beautiful life she lived and the many ways she made their lives richer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and adopted parents Delmis and Mary-Lou Phillips; two brothers Larry, and Jimmy Covington; four sisters Bonnie, Pat, Carolyn, and Martha Covington.
Those left to cherish her memory include: three sons Sonny Leopard (Becca), Willy Leopard, and Scott Leopard (Katie); two daughters Crystal Foster (Karl) and Cori Martinez (Carlos); thirteen grandchildren Tyler Earnest (Grace), Nickolas Leopard, Jewel Wallace, Zachary Leopard, Braxton Leopard, Adrianna Leopard, Colby Earnest (Lexie), Kayley Foster, Micaela Martinez, Stella Martinez, Priscilla Martinez, Olivia Leopard, and Ella Leopard; two great-grandchildren; one brother Terrell Covington (Linda); as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services in her honor will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, 348 Hinson Rd El Dorado, AR 71730, Pastor Myron Ford officiating, interment following at Friendship Cemetery adjacent. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
