Beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend to many, Brian Douglas Gilmore, age 58, of El Dorado, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. Born Dec 29, 1960, he is preceded in death by his parents Charles Ivan "Chuck" Gilmore and Barbara Ann Whitaker Gilmore. He is survived by his wife, Shelia, his children, Alicia (Phillip), Kaylen, Haley and Hayden, his grandchildren, Breanna, Ashton, Jenna and Sebastian, as well as, his brothers, Benji (Vanya) and Bruce, his aunt Jane, his cousin, Joy and many nieces and nephews.

In life, he graduated from El Dorado High in 1979, attended U of A in Fayetteville and completed his Criminal Justice degree at UALR; he served our community for 20 years as a parole officer, was an avid duck hunter, hunting dog trainer and was always looking to give people a reason to laugh. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, February 25, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Home officiated by Kimberly Bennett.
