Callie I. Ward, 83, of Strong, AR passed away March 12, 2016 at her residence.
Callie was born September 25, 1932 to the late William W. Gandy and Mary R. Stinson Gandy. She was a faithful member of the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Strong. Retired from Prescolite after 30 plus years of service and loved her family and truly missed by all
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 42 years Huey Ward ; one brother, Darrell Gandy; three sisters, Margaret Sue Wesson, Betty Jo Henderson and Barbara Jean Burns.
Those left to cherish in her memory is her one sister, Brenda McVicker (Ernest) ; and Aunties two girls, Charmaine Sinclair and Melinda Castillo and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8pm Tuesday March 15 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Strong. Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday March 16 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Malone and Paul Kinard officiating. Interment will be at Norris Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapel.
