Carl P. Bishop 59, of Louann died Saturday March 15, 2014 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born in El Dorado on Decemeber 26, 1954 and was the son of Clyde Bishop Sr. and Laketa Bishop Burton. He was a member of Sylvan Hills Baptist Church of Elliot and a auto mechanic by trade.

He was preceded in death by his father, a son; Randall Bishop and a sister; Kandy Kay Bishop.

Survivors include his mother; Laketa Burton, 3 daughters; Carla Bishop Smith, Brittany Bishop Ayala and Jennifer Bishop, 3 brothers; Tracy Bishop, Clyde Bishop Jr and James "Bull" Bishop, and 10 grandchidren.

Memorial services will be held at 10am Thursday March 20, 2014 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rev. Carl Hart officiating. Cremation services were provided by Perry's Funeral Chapels
