Obituary
Carol Ann White, 71, of El Dorado died Thursday February 2, 2012 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born May 22, 1940 in El Dorado and is the daughter of the late Jesse Stark Cheek Jr. and Rosemary Griffin Cheek. She worked as a clerical assistant at Lion Oil for many years and later worked for Trinity Steel in Trinity Texas.
Carol's passions were watching wildlife in her backyard. She loved animals, especially her own She was a reading enthusiast and loved, solving crossword puzzles. Music was a big part of her life. She loved listening to music and played the piano at Galalee
She is preceeded by her parents and her husband Ivy Wiley "IW" White
Surviving her are her brothers, Charles R. Cheek of Yorktown Heights, New York, Jesse S. Cheek III of El Dorado, and Bart Cheek of Sandyland. Her children are Merle, Gerald,Jeanette, Alice, Barbara, Whiley, and Charles Rayburn, and many Grandchildren and great grandchildren and her pet Schnauzer, "Sophie".
A celebration of life will be held at 10am Monday February 6, 2012 at Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
