Obituary
Carolyn Marie Lyle, 92, of Magnolia passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Magnolia Health and Rehab.
Carolyn was born on March 28, 1924 to the late Thomas Jefferson Smith and Carrie Ann Winkler Smith. For many years she was the secretary for First Baptist in Texas City, TX. She is a former member of Marable Hill Chapel and a member of First Baptist Church in Magnolia. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Neal Lyle; two sisters, Nell Finn and Lillian Ann Davis.
Those to cherish in her memory are her children, Julia Davis (Jim), Linda Lyle and Mike Lyle (Barbara); twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Perry's Funeral Chapels from 1:30 - 3pm.
Graveside service will follow visitation at 3:30pm at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Bro Delmus Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Victory Bible Camp in care of Marable Hill Chapel.
