Catherine Anne Whatley Taylor Patterson, 88 of El Dorado, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Timberlane Health and Rehab.

She was born on May 24, 1922, in Union County, Arkansas to John Henry Whatley and Effie Haney Whatley.

Catherine worked many years in retail at "Samples" and " M.M. Cohns."

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Tobe P. Taylor, a son; Tobey H. Taylor, and husband; Roy Patterson.

She is survived by her granddaughter; Sonya Taylor Archer (Bill), great- grandchildren; Matt Archer and Eli Archer all of Harmony Grove, Arkansas, Several cousins, nephews, a special great nephew Billy Hayner of Eureka Springs, and special friends Julia and Gene Burns.

Also surviving her are her step-children; John Roy Patterson, Larry Patterson, Bruce Patterson and Beverly Jo Hamaker.

Graveside services will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00PM in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bill Odom officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels of El Dorado.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 11:00- 1:00PM at the funeral Home.
