Obituary
Cecil L. Hargraves, 84, of El Dorado, died May 5, 2010 at his home. He was born May 1, 1926
in Wesson, Arkansas and is the son of the late Heber Hargraves and Lula Jane Smith Hargraves.
He was a pipefitter by trade and a member of the Local #706 pipefitters Union. Earlier in life he
worked as a " merchant marine" working overseas. He was a licensed barber and cut hair for
several years before retiring.
Cecil loved being out doors. He loved hunting and fishing in his spare time and before old age
and his health started failing him, he was an advid coon hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; George Wooten, and a sister; Mamie Wooten
Survivors are his daughter; Amy Hargraves of El Dorado, a brother; Earl Hargraves and his wife
Mary of Tulsa, Oklahoma, nephews; Mitchell Hargraves of Dallas, Texas, and Dale Hargraves of
Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a niece; Eva Hargraves also of Tulsa..
Graveside services will be 2:00pm Sunday May 9, 2010 at Jolley Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ainsworth officiating. Visitation will beheld from 5-8PM on Saturday May 8, 2010 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.
