Obituary

Chad L. Allen, 73, 0f Junction City passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home, after suffering a long battle with cancer.

Born March 5, 1937 in Junction City, Ar. He was the son of Otto S. Allen and Pearl V. Loftin Allen. He was a retiree of the Carpenter's Local. Mr. Allen served in the U. S. Army from February 2, 1960 until February 1, 1966. He was a member of the 161st ENG.B.N., 4th U S Army Missile in Seoul, Korea.

He was preceded on death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter Barbara Ann Lewis of Marysville, his little sis Nell Ashworth and husband Bob Ashworth of Junction City, one granddaughter Emily Nicole Hildebrand and three nieces Arlene Hargett and Mark of El Dorado, Trina Sweet and Greg of Junction City, and Monica Gorman also of Junction City. One great niece Britney Sweet and three great nephews Brett and Mason Gorman, and Lucas Hargett.

Chad was a county boy with a great love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He loved riding his four wheeler and working in the garden.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:00PM at Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Bob Inmon officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels of El Dorado.
