Thomas Charles Poole, 85, of Strong passed from this life Thursday, February 29, 2024. Charles was born May 11, 1938 in Strong, AR to the late Raymond and Lucille Poole.

Charles always enjoyed going down the road to check on "his hogs" and Poole Hunting Club. He never drove his little red truck over 20 mph while checking on Poole Cemetery and everyone's camp at the river. He was a man of faith, and he prayed for his family every night. When the grandchildren were young, Pop loved having them out to his camp on the Ouachita where he delighted in watching them fish, shoot fireworks, and do water sports. He will be missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife of sixty-four years Lanora Poole; four brothers Huey Poole, Junior Poole, Carlton Poole, Lawrence Poole; one sister Nadine Crisp.

Those left to cherish his memory include: two daughters, Tonya Webb (Troy Lee) and Sonya Neikirk (Bill); son, Peter Poole (Teri); five grandchildren April (Brandon), Eric (Katie), Courtney (Jay), Carrie (Josh), and Emily (Steven); and six great-grandchildren Cameron (Evan), Spencer, Rylee, Kalyn, Ace, and Charlotte.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Poole Cemetery, Bro. Scotty Guillot officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:30 until time of service at the cemetery.
