Chester Harold Peterson, 87, of Strong, died Sat. April 5, 2008, at Life Touch Hospice
Mr. Peterson was born June 25, 1920, in Strong, the son of Fred and Maggie Elizabeth
Dollar Peterson. He was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church and was an operator in the oil
business.
Preceded in death by the parents, his wife Kathryn Sue Spencer Peterson and a brother
Raymond Peterson.
Survived by a son Charles Peterson and his wife Janis of Hot Springs, a daughter Wanda
Taunton and her husband Que of Strong. Six grandchildren, Leslie Meshell of Strong, Michael
Peterson and his wife Sara of Benton, Ashley Bentley and her husband J. R. of Herber Springs,
Wendy Jones and her husband Jim of Hot Springs, Dedra Crawford and her husband Kevin of
Hot Springs Village and James Taunton and his wife Tonya of Malvern and 12
greatgrandchildren
There will be Gravesides Service at 10:00 AM Monday (4/7) at the Strong Cemetery with
Rev. Tommy Robertson officiating, Burial will be under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels of Strong.
Visitation will be tonight (4/6) from 6 til 8 at the funeral chapel in Strong.
