Christopher Thomas "Chris" Wilson, 16, of El Dorado passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on October 6, 2003 in El Dorado to David Steve Wilson, Jr. and Rachel Vines Reed. Chris was known for being a practical joker who enjoyed making people laugh. He had a love for music, a talent for writing as well as a fondness for working on cars, and had future plans of opening a mechanic shop. Chris was a student at El Dorado High School, active member of Marrable Hill Chapel youth group, member of the El Dorado Soccer Team, had passion for Archery and in his spare time he was playing video games, catching reptiles and collecting rocks. Anyone who knew Chris knew he always made it a priority to be well groomed and look his best. Chris adored his family, and "bros", was known as a lady's man, but shared an especially close bond with his twin brother, Ben Wilson; sister, McKayla Wilson; and cousin, Harrison Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Rev. Joseph S. Perry, Norman Fincher, and Bobby Wilson; and great-grandmothers, Ossie Vines, Idelle Morris Perry, Wanda Dickens, and Joyce Wilson.
Survivors include his mother, Rachel Vines Reed (Tom Presley); father, Steve Wilson Jr. (Kimberly); brother, Ben Wilson; sister, McKayla Wilson; step-brother, Logan Vines; step-sisters, Kairi Vines and Livi Fuller; maternal grandparents, William Vines, Jr. and Relinda Vines; paternal grandparents, Steve Wilson Sr. and Nina Wilson; great-grandfather, William Vines, Sr. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Marrable Hill Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Marrable Hill Chapel officiated by Bro. Blake Dailey followed by Interment at Strong Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
