IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Earl
Jennings
August 11, 1972 – December 18, 2018
Christopher E. Jennings, 46, of El Dorado went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born August 11, 1972 in El Dorado, and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1991, and then attended SAU Tech in Camden. He was employed at the El Dorado News Times as their District Manager. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Described by his three children as helpful, hardworking, funny, a jokester, kind, generous, and loving, Christopher loved people and always had a joke or two. He loved his family and fought hard for them. He loved to laugh, smile and would drop everything to help someone in need. Christopher enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool with his friends but his #1 thing to do was to bass fish with his dad. His family will remember him as a free spirited, fun loving, peacemaker with a big heart.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Lena Jennings and Ferry and Irene Kelley; and brother, Eric Scott Jennings.
Survivors include, his wife, Joanie Perdue Jennings; sons, Eric Jennings and Connor Jennings; daughter, Alissa Jennings; Parents, Alicia Lowery (Robert) and Edward Jennings (Barbara); sister, Chelsey Owens (John); step-sisters, Jamie Blackwell, Regina Bruce, Rhonda Thompson, and Deschane Friday; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Bro. Alan Ellen and Bro. Sam Higgs officiating.
