Obituary
Cleve Junior Smith 73, of El Dorado, died Thursday, August 13, 2009 at John R. Williamson
Hospice House.
He was born November 4, 1935 in Hermitage, Arkansas, to James Cleve Smith and Edith
Rowell Smith. He worked for Cooper Tire in El Dorado for 11 ½ years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Floye Vines, Blanche Barker and Johnnie
Belin.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Smith; two sons Steve Smith and his wife Marion, and
Brandon Smith. Two daughters; Melinda Miller and her husband Donald, all of El Dorado and
Julie Mc Cash and her husband Paris of Waukegan, Illinois; a niece, Eva Drummond and a
nephew, Fred Belin; one brother, Jay Smith of Batavia, New York; Grandchildren; Steven Smith,
Michael Smith, Brandon Barnette, Casey Miller, Tina Braswell, Andres Mc Cash, Karsten Mc
Cash, Damaris Mc Cash, and a great grand boy on the way.
Services will be Sunday, August 16, 2009, at 2PM at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rev. Monroe
Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Ridge Cemetery near Hermitage. Visitation will be
Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 1-3PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at 2364 South Field Road in El Dorado.
