IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cliff
Mccoy
April 15, 1953 – February 1, 2026
Cliff McCoy, 72, of El Dorado Arkansas passed away Sunday February 1, 2026 at South Arkansas Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. Cliff was born April 5, 1953 to W.C. "Bill" McCoy and Patricia Ann Savage McCoy in El Dorado.
Cliff was a devoted Dad, Brother, Uncle, Poppa and a friend to many. He was a master carpenter, serving his community for over forty years. His craftsmanship was a central part of his life and a great source of pride, leaving a lasting mark on the places and people he served.
Cliff loved wildlife; He was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved raising his chickens, and spent much of his time caring for them. He had a deep devotion to his garden, where he found steady joy in tending and growing his bounty. Many of Cliff's favorite moments were spent fishing and being outside. He loved being able to share his vast knowledge of God's creation with his children and friends.
He had a lifelong love of music. As a young man, he was a member of a band, and throughout his life he enjoyed singing in church.
Cliff's relationship with the Lord was deeply personal and a source of strength throughout his life.
Preceding him in death are his parents and his son Clifford Bardwell Mc Coy Jr.
Surviving him are his son Cole McCoy (Sarah), his daughter Brooke McCoy, brother Chris McCoy (Judy), sister Carola McCoy, grandson Dess McCoy, granddaughter Dr. Skylar McCoy, niece Clarissa Murphy (Tim) and her children Trey, Marleigh, and Trent, nephew Stan McCoy (Lauren) best friend Eddie Turner and his special friend Madia Parker.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Calloway and his amazing medical staff at LifeTouch Hospice, and the staff of third floor at South Arkansas Regional Hospital for their amazing care.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to his church Bible Baptist Church 2165 Smackover Hwy El Dorado, Arkansas 71730. An online registry can be signed at (http://www.perrysfuneralchapels.com/)
