Colvis Norsworthy Harman Norris Lovette, 99 of New London died Tuesday June 10, 2008 at the Oak Ridge Nursing Home. She was born October 5, 1908 in Strong, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Livy and Sallie Walton Norsworthy. She was a member of New London Baptist Church and member of New London Senior Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker and worked at McMillian Refinery 3 yrs, Alpuent Printing Co. 3 yrs and sat with the elderly for 16 yrs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands Walter J. Harman, Fred Norris and Louis Lovette, and a son Dr. Walter J. Harman Jr., six brothers Baxtor, Lenord, Frank, Bunion, J.D., Sam Norsworthy Sr, and two sisters Inace Norsworthy McPherson, Leanice Norsworhty Daniels, six nephews; Glen, S.J., Deaton, and Grottice Norsworthy, Lawrence and Oneal Daniels, one niece Mary Sue Norsworthy Hill and two step sons Tom and Louis Lovette Jr and one step daughter Agnes Lovette Lowell.
Survivors include daughter-in-law Dorothy Brewster Harman of Baton Rouge, LA, two grand daughters Dea Harman O'Rourke of Lake Charles, LA., Nan Harman Brinson of Atlanta, GA., on step son-in-law Charlie Lowell, two step daughter in laws, Flora Lee Lovette Hooten and Aurella Lovette. Five step grandsons, four step grand daughters, 10 great step grand children, and several nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law Pollie Norris.
Funeral will be Saturday 2PM at the New London Baptist Church with Revs. Harold Diffie and Rodney Grice officiating. Burial will be in the New London Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong. The Visitation will be Friday June 13, 2008 at Perry's in Strong from 5-8PM.
