Cora Dell Parks, age 80, of Strong, AR passed from this life on Friday July 26, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Cora was born November 6, 1943 in Strong, AR to the late Dr. Ainsley Richard Colvin and Ila Cobb Colvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 38 years George Richard Parks; two brothers A. A. Colvin and Charles Kelley; one sister Emma Jo Falk; and one son Ricky Parks.

Those left to cherish her memory include: four daughters Stacey Fairris and her husband Jamie of Strong, AR, Donna Ballard and her husband Randy of El Dorado, AR, Bonnie Strickland and her husband Robb of Eclectic, AL, Vicky Woodson of Columbia, MO; ten grandchildren Steven DeFee, Chase Shrewsbury, Drew Fairris, Gage Fairris, Harlie Ballard, A. J. Strickland, Heather Pacewitz, Cameron Warnock, Jennifer Rawls, and Melissa Adams; eight great-grandchildren Caden Shrewsbury, Taytum Shrewsbury, Lana Fairris, J.R. Fairris, Rory Pacewitz, Zane Pacewitz, Cassie Rawls, and Sunny Adams; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Strong, AR, Pastor Scotty Guillot and Pastor Todd Gunter officiating, internment following at Strong Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, from 5-7:00 PM at the church.
