Obituary
Daisy Mae Bankston, age 102, of El Dorado, died Wednesday June 16, 2010 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on March 15,1908 in Mount Holly, Arkansas to the late Lemul Thomas Darden and Mary Ann Jetton Darden.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Glenn T. Bankston, six brothers; Dossie, Johnny, Doyle, Harper, Elmer, Joseph Darden, three sisters Lillian Cokes, Jossie Smith, Ruby Mosley.
She is survived by three sisters; Thelma Smith of Mabelvale, AR, Virdie Phillips of Urbana, Birdie Nipper of Old Union, two brothers; Orlean (Pete) Dardem of El Dorado, Junior Darden of Urbana and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 18, 2010 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado with Rev. Larry Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery near Cairo under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
