Dan Edward Neely, 73 of El Dorado, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at John L. McClellan Veterans Memorial Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born June 26, 1948 to the late Jack Edward Neely and Maudie Ruth McGaugh Neely.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kenneth Neely and the mother of his children, Sydney Neely.

Dan was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in El Dorado. All of his free time was devoted to hunting and fishing. He retired from Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors after 40 plus years building elevated water tanks.

Left to cherish his memories, his wife, Ruby Simpson Neely, of nearly 9 years; son, Chris Neely (Alicia), daughter, Becky Brantley (Jamie); grandchildren, Jack Neely, Becca Neely, Jacy Brantley, Caden Brantley, and Sydnie Brantley; step children, David Sinclair (Charmaine) and Cindy Hansen (Deven White); step grandchildren, Brittney Sinclair and Macie Ganey (Alex); great grandchild, Ember Sinclair; two sisters, Kathy McElroy (Mitch) and Linda King (Henry) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM officiated by Chad White under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
