Daniel " Dan" Alan Hostetter Sr., age 55, of El Dorado passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on October 13, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Dan was born on November 24, 1968 in Winnfield, Kansas to his loving parents, Don and Mary Hostetter.

Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents Lawrence and Neva Hostetter, and Lillie Byrd, and father and mother in law, Billy and Glenda Richard.

Dan loved hunting and fishing, but his favorite was coaching his sons' sports teams. He had a beautiful heart and soul. So loving, caring, and giving. He was known to drop everything to help anyone in need. His family, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews were his world.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of thirty-seven years Christina Hostetter; daughter Kristen (Walker) Hildebrand; two sons Daniel (Kaitlyn) Hostetter and Jackson Hostetter all of El Dorado, AR; two sisters Sonya (Tom) of West Monroe, LA and Sandra (Craig) Caswell of El Dorado, AR; six grandchildren Cameron, Jensen, Lincoln, and Tessa Kate Hildrebrand, Brayden Kimbell, and Adilyn Hostetter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be gathered at 665 N Ripley Rd in El Dorado, AR.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10 am  at Perry's Funeral Chapel. The family invites the community to come early to share stories and memories. An additional celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
