Danny Dwayne Lowery, 77 of El Dorado, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born on August 26, 1943 in El Dorado to the late William Jesse Lowery and Gladys Ethel Bridges Lowery. Danny enjoyed the simple things in life. Some of his favorite things to do were Duck Hunting, Fishing and Dirt Track Racing. Danny drove car #5 during the Smackover Speedway days. He was employed at Cooper Tire for more than 35 years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine Lowery; son, Kevin Lowery; and brother, Coy Oliver Lowery.

Those left to cherish her memory are his daughters, Kim Storey (Mike) of El Dorado, Kelly Lowery of El Dorado, and Karla Balzer (Pete) of  Kremmling, Colorado; brothers, Delbert "Pete" Lowery (Hilda) of Mebane, North Carolina and Billy Gerald Lowery (Jean) of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters, Norma Faye Sones (Bill), Laverne E. Johnson, Barbara June Harber and Paula Vines all of El Dorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Parkers Chapel Cemetery officiated by Sye Duke under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Northwest Baptist Church of El Dorado.
