Obituary
Delbert O. Spriggs 80 of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 23, 1932 to George Spriggs and Gertrude Sullivan Griffin Spriggs.
Delbert was a huge animal lover. He was a bricklayer and started mixing mortar at the age of 14. He was in the Army and will be greatly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Walter Griffin, a sister Reba Bibby, grandson Jimbo Alphin and granddaughter Mandy Lynn Spriggs.
Survivors include a son Dennis C. Spriggs (Shelia), a daughter Debra A. Spriggs Alphin DeFee (Kenneth), four grandchildren; Alicia McCarty, Jason Alphin, Clay Spriggs, Lindsey Colvin and nine great grandchildren.
Cremation was entrusted to Perry's Funeral Chapels. No services or visitation is scheduled at this time.
In Lieu of flowers please make donations to an animal shelter of your choice.
