Dennis Joe Carter, 53, of Huttig, AR passed away at his residence on February 27, 2017.
Dennis was born June 26,1963 to IB Carter and Betty Lynelle Carter. He was a self-proclaimed river rat that spent his days listening to music around his campfire, telling stories about the good ol' days.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, I.B. Carter III, Larry Smith and Jimmy Lee Carter; his infant daughter, Jodi Carter.
His survivors include his children, Allen Hilton, Shantel Carter, Julie Carter and Samantha Carter; grandchildren, Skylar Ross, Adeline Bruscato, Piper McAdams, Sophia and Saphrina Henslee, Emily Hilton; his sisters, Jan Sellers, Joanie Jollie, Barbara Lyons; three brothers, Mike Smith, Tony Carter and Harold Carter; a long time friend, Theresa Amerson; his beloved dog Bandit.
Special thanks to all his friends at the Grand Marais RV Park for their love and friendship.
Cremation services are being entrusted to Perry's Funeral Chapels.
