Donald Kevin Moon, 65, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2022 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. He was the husband of Lona Teresa Thornton Moon. They shared 46 years of marriage together.

Kevin was born on November 5, 1956 in Ruston, LA to Donald R. Moon and the late Sandra Caldwell Moon. In 2019, he retired from Lanxess Chemical Company in El Dorado after nearly 43 years of dedicated employment.

Kevin was a member of First Baptist Church of Huttig, AR. He was best known for his passion for hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Moon; maternal grandparents, Hansford and Eton Caldwell; paternal grandparents, Samuel T. and Macie Moon; and nephew, Joshua Logan Gunter.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Moon; daughter, Holly DuPriest (Will); son, Luke Moon (Meri); granddaughters, Allie DuPriest, Katy DuPriest, and Denver Moon; grandson, Lukas DuPriest; father, Don Moon (Linda); brothers, Kent Moon (Kim) and Keith Moon; sister, Kristi Gunter (Michael); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Huttig. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Huttig officiated by Brother Todd Gunter, followed by Interment at Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Serving as Pallbearers are Tommy Pylant, Kevin Chelette, Curt Chelette, Dale Chelette, Kenneth Post, Jeff Floyd, and Jeff Bunn.
