Obituary
Dora Jean Burson White, 88, of Strong, AR passed away July 9, 2017 at John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Dora was born May 29, 1929 to the late Thurmon Joseph and Relda L. Reynolds Burson. She was a member of Jack Mayfield Methodist Church in Huttig as well as being an artist, a homemaker and loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Dell White and one son, Jimmie Terry White.
Dora's survivors include her son, Randy White (Tracey); granddaughters, Cammie Poole (James) and Leslie Jones (Scott); Hayden White, Amy D'Orsay (Claytion); great granddaughters, Sidney Poole and Elania D'Orsay; a host of nieces and nephews; life long best friend, Nelda Meshell as well as honorary granddaughter and nurse, Trudy Willis.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8pm Tuesday, July 11. 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Strong.
Services will be held at 10am Wednesday, July 12 also at First Baptist Church of Strong with Bro. Neil Hamilton and Bro. Scotty Guillott officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House 2301 Champagnolle Road El Dorado AR, 71730.
