Doris New 71, of Strong; died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.
She was born in Junction City, Arkansas, on January 4,1940, to Jeff Couch and Grace Cullens Couch. She was a homemaker.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Jefferson Murray New; parents and several brothers and sisters.
Doris is survived by her son Darrell Hollis of Strong, a sister; Jean Young of Monroe, LA; two brothers; Benny Couch of Searcy, AR and Tommy Couch of California.
Per her wishes she was cremated and services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Perry's Funeral Chapels of Strong.
