Doris L. Paddie, 83, of Strong, Arkansas died Thursday November 20, 2008 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. She was born in Strong March 2, 1925 and is the daughter of the late John Franklin Little and Ola McKinney Little. She was a nurse and had worked for the Medical Center of South Arkansas for 30 years before retireing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Strong where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the TEL Sunday School class. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She loved gardening in her yard.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Dave Joseph Paddie, and two sisters; Altha Mae Vestal and Erma Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter; Bobbie Dumas and husband Dan of Strong, three brothers; John Little and wife Dorothy of Crossett, Arkansas, Curly Little and wife Gelynn and Glen Little and wife Peggy all of Huttig, Arkansas, a sister; Olga Taylor of Crossett, and a granddaughter; Danielle Reynolds and husband Joeby of El Dorado, and two friends, her caregivers; Ann Smith and Lou Ellen Green that the family would like to specially thank for the loving and compassionate care they gave Doris.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00am Saturday November 22, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Strong with Revs. Scotty Guillot and Tommy Nash officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. Burial will be in Strong Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00pm til 8:00pm Friday November 21, 2008 at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 954 S.
