Doyle P. Bishop 85 of El Dorado died Sunday September 1, 2013 at his home. He was born December 29, 1927 to the late John Lee Bishop and Bessie LaBeff Bishop Atkinson. He worked in the oilfield his entire career before retiring.

Doyle was an outdoorsman. Whether it was working or hunting and fishing in his spare time, he loved everything about being outdoors. He especially loved his family who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Gaytha Freeman Bishop, a brother; John Albert Bishop, sisters; Catherine Colvin and Martha Cook.

He is survived by his daughter; Donna Davis (Michael) of Rogers, three sons; John Bishop (Patricia), Randy Bishop and Tony Bishop all of El Dorado, sisters; Alice Ponder of Elm Grove, LA., and Dorothy Holt of Phoenix, AZ, four grandchildren; Paul Davis (Sarah) of Rogers, AR, Ragan McCollough (Jason) of Springdale, AR, Rhonda Estabrook (Joey) of El Dorado, Jennifer McDowell (Rocky) of Junction City, six great grandchildren; Makenzie, Maverick, Autumn, Ethan, Jazlynn, and Kaylee,

Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday September 5, 2013 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rev. Heather Clawitter officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Davis, David Long, Paul Long, James Ponder, Jerry Ponder and Joey Estabrook Jr. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
