Eddie Smith, age 70, of El Dorado, AR passed from this life Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home. Eddie was born September 9, 1953, in El Dorado AR to the late Nile and Oleta Smith.

Eddie was an avid hunter, and a member of Smith Hunting Club. He loved spending time riding the side by side with his faithful companion Max. He always came equipped with some witty advice. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Phillip Smith; nephew Phillip Wade Smith Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include: one son Luke Smith of Alvin, TX; his special friend Rhonda Lepard; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services in his honor will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 29, 2023 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR, internment following at Craig Cemetery in El Dorado, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service at the funeral home.
