Edna Faye Epps, 66, of El Dorado passed away on January 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born in El Dorado on September 25, 1952 to Kenneth and Dorothy Martin Lowery.

Edna was a graduate of El Dorado High School Class of 1970. She worked at A&P Grocery for 2 ½ years and Kroger for 14 years where she was head cashier. She was a member of Calion Baptist Church. Edna was a devoted Arkansas Razorbacks and Golden State Warriors fan and was passionate about her Smackover Bucks – Nic and Nate. She remained active in sports playing softball till she was 40 and also Bowled, Roller Skated and was an avid Texas Holdem Poker Player. She will be missed by her Saturday night Farkle group, Lydia Ann Ricker, Vickey Bussey Ingram, Jane Taylor and Janet "Mimi" Saunders who she considered family along with her Kroger friends. She cherished her classmates and enjoyed her class reunions and gatherings with her Kroger friends and Campfire Girls. Edna maintained relationship with her best friends of 50 plus years, Darryl Bussey, Lydia Ann Ricker, Beverly Patterson King, and Annette Harrel Booth. She loved unconditionally, and her children and grandchildren were her heart and strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Floyd and Nancy Elizabeth Graham and Wesley and Edna McKinney Lowery; sister, Dorothy Weatherford; and son, Steven F. Bussey. Survivors include her son, Jonathan Bussey (Jody) of Arcadia, LA; daughters, Ashley Epps (Tara) and Aaron Epps of Calion; grandchildren, Laura Bussey Gibson (John),  Nic Saulsbury, Nate Saulsbury and Lucas Ivy; and one great-granddaughter, Hayden Gibson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Chapels officiated by Bro. Mark Staples.

A Celebration of Life will be held directly after the service for Friends and Family located at 208 S. Pine St. Calion, AR 71724.
