Obituary
Edward Franklin Cagle Jr., 87, of El Dorado died Saturday September 24, 2011 at Courtyard Health & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. He was born January 5, 1924 in Antoine Arkansas.
Preceded in death by his parents Edward F. Cagle Sr. & Julia E. Blakely Cagle, Siblings, Lorene Ward, Juarez Sager, & Judy Johnson.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed going to Lake Chico with his close friends. He was a veteran of WWII, Shriners, & 32nd degree Mason. He worked at American Oil and retired from National Bank of Commerce. He attended East Main Baptist Church of El Dorado.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Paula Fuller of Bentonville Arkansas, Angie Collins (Mike) of El Dorado, and Tammy Taylor (Steve) of El Dorado, sister Thelma Welsh of Redford Michigan, and brother William (Bill) Cagle (Maxine) of Winchester, Virginia, 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10AM Tuesday September 27th 2011 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Marty Black officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Monday September 26th 2011 at the funeral home.
