Eloise Evon Mock Gatheright age 71 of Smackover, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.  Eloise was born on July 22, 1949 in Camden, AR to Mary Helen Brewer Mock and the late William Thomas Mock.  Eloise was employed at Murphy Oil Corp for 25 years before her retirement.  She then continued to work for Murphy USA before her final retirement in December of 2019.  She especially enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with her husband and was a loving, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whom will be sorely missed by all.

Eloise was preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Mock; one sister, Linda Mock; two brothers, Tommy Mock, and Jimmy Mock.

Survivors include; her mother, Mary Helen Mock of Smackover; her husband of 52 years, Ronnie Gatheright of Smackover; two sons, Michael Gatheright of Camden, and Christopher Neal Gatheright (Catherine) of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Kalie Gatheright ( Cole Eubanks) of Hampton, Tyler Gatheright (Nicole Guthrie) of Felsenthal, Lilly Speer, and Nora Speer both of El Dorado; three great grandchildren, Ryder Nokes, Colton Benson, Jax Gatheright and one great granddaughter expected soon.

A family and friend memorial service will be held from 5:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the College Ave Church of Christ.
