Emma Naomi Whatley, born 4/24/29 in Electra, TX, passed peacefully in her sleep on 1/1/19 in El Dorado, AR at the age of 89.

She meet her future husband of 64 years, Raymond E. Whatley, at Sycamore Grove Church of Christ in El Dorado. They were married on 2/17/46 in Chickasha, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 5 siblings, a son, and 4 grandchildren. Survived by her children Johnny & Kaye Whatley, Susie & Sterling Gill, Lewis & Carol Whatley, 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great-grandchild. She was a Wife, Mother, Clerk with Hancock Fabrics, Seamstress, and volunteer with PTA, and Band Parents Association. She was active her whole life in Church activities, sewing groups, ladies bible study groups, and she enjoyed hunting, fishing, canning, home crafts, and spoiling RE.

Visitation and Memorial will be at College Ave. Church of Christ on 1/5/19. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM, with Funeral Service following at 2:00PM Officiated by Kent Jobe.
