Estelle Pope Phillips, 75 of El Dorado passed from this life into the hands of our Lord on Wednesday February 4, 2009. She was born on October 13, 1933 in Bernice Louisiana, the daughter of Harry and Della Pope.

She devoted her life to her husband and children. Estelle loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Charlie E. Phillips Sr., two brothers Ralph Pope and Carl Pope, two sisters, Hazel Hurst, and Glennie Pope.

She is survived by one sister Ethel McGowan of Dallas Texas, daughters Gail Latimer of Smackover, Arkansas, Annie Brashier and husband Gary of El Dorado, Arkansas, two sons, Thomas Phillips and wife Beth of Collierville, Tennessee, Charlie Phillips Jr. and wife Cathy of Strong, Arkansas., Grandchildren, Keisha Sims, Carter Latimer, Nathaniel Phillips, Natalie Phillips, and Nicholas Phillips, Sandra McNeely, Bridgette Fitch, Trey Phillips, Robert Phillips, Danielle Murray and seven Great Grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, and one devoted friend of many years Jeanette Neely. Estelle will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday February 7, 2009 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rev. David Kassos and Captin Sterling Claypoole officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will beheld from 6:00pm til 8:00pm on Friday February 6, 2008 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Phillips, Eric Bates, Wade Murray, John Page, Earl Cook, and Mike Latimer.
