Obituary
Eunice Inez Mundford Dugal 92, of Strong, passed away August 18, 2008.
The daughter of Johnny & Wealtha Joiner Mundford, she was born May 2, 1916 in New London, the youngest of 5 children.Having lived in Union County all of her life, the last 70 years were spent in the Aurelle community.
She was preceded in death by all her family and her husband of 51 years, India Dugal. Together they operated Dugal's Service Station in the 60s, and in later years she was a caregiver for 2 sisters. Inez loved to fish in her pond, and did so until last year.
She leaves behind 2 daughters, Betty Hamilton & sons Dirk Hamilton, and Aric Hamilton and daughter Gracie; Carolyn Smith and husband Don, sons Brian Smith and wife Dawn and children Brad and Zoie, Kenneth Smith; Brent Smith and wife Sandy and daughter Jenna. Also mourning her passing is a special niece, Barbara Pippen, who gave so generously of her time helping care for her aunt.
Visitation was held Tuesday night from 6:00pm til 8:00pm at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong. Funeral services will be 2:00pm today at Strong Church of Christ where she attended faithfully for many years with brother Michael Martin officiating. Burial will be at Cane Creek Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside India, who died in 1987. Services are under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
